Working Together to End Gun Violence in St. Louis
Far too many Americans have been impacted by gun violence — and the stories of survivors and the families of those taken too soon often go untold. This video spotlights St. Louis, a city coming together to end gun violence. Public officials, mothers who have lost children, community violence intervention organizations, and members of the Everytown Survivor Network share what they're doing to drive change.
Through the dedicated work of community violence intervention programs, volunteers, and public officials, St. Louis saw a 26% decrease in homicides from 2020 to 2021 — proof of what's possible when a community works together toward safety and healing.
