Last July 2013, I had the great honor to interview Mr. B aka Harry Belafonte. While the production crew and I were setting up for the shoot in Mr. Belafonte's office we heard his raspy voice as he walked down the hall towards us. As he approached me, the first thing that struck me was his powerful spirit and energizer bunny like movement...on the move indeed! He gave us a great interview on that day and his stories were very empowering too.
At 87, he is still a tireless Civil Rights champion. A few weeks ago, his remarks on Race & Cinema @ NY Film Critics Circle Awards left the room speechless in NY! #LUVHIMLOTS #CivilRightsIcon
